Wastegate issue

Sorry im creating a new topic couldnt find the other one, so i was having a problem with my setup, FR stage 1 kit, tial 38 wg etc etc.
Could only tune the car till 5k as im geting a boost cut at 9 psi, wg spring is for .5 and it wont hold it, builds boost till it reaches the boost cut. Changed the wg spring as it could be faulty, still the same problem, so i ended up using an air compressor pistol (if u call it that in english) to see if it would open up the wg, and it simply looses pressure as soon as i pump it in, opened the wg and didnt see any hole in the diaphragm, and its loosing a bit of air from the top hole (which is open since i dont have an ebc). What could be causing this? Faulty wg?

do you have a picture of your setup?
im not sure what you mean that the air compressor pistol causes the WG to lose air?
if you put copmpressoed air in the side port of the wastegate, the wastegate valve should open and there should not be any loss of air...

Geoff,
It means the air compressor pistol has a pressure gauge, and when i pump air to the side wastegate fitting the air pressure that i injected drops right away and the wg wont open, air comes from the top hole of the wg.
I don´t have any pictures here, its a "normal" stage 1 prostreet kit for an integra

if hes talking about an air compressor with an air blower on the end...... he just shot 150 psi of compressed air into his wastegate and if it wasnt broken before you can bet it is now...
the air is coming out of the top hole because you ripped the diapram in the middle of the gate that seals the top from the bottom.....
thats also why its not opening.....its just bleeding the boost it sees right back out
to test it you need to regulate a low amount of pressure into the gate....open the gate up and look for the rip...

lol i haven´t, this is a manual air gun or compressor however u wanna call it, it wont put even 1 bar of pressure, actually it cant even do that it starts loosing air right away.
