Default Washed engine, now AVCR wont work?

WTF...

i de-greased and washed my engine on thursday. I made SURE to wrap up the AVCR solenoid with a bag...as well as other ignition related components. washed her down, pulled her back in the garage and air dryed it with my compressor.

no problems!

took her out today, and its running off the F'n Wastegate spring. it wont boost past the spring and im getting a funky read out on my AVCR. its stuck on one number, and wont move as boost increases etc., the injector duty and all that still reads out fine but the AVCR isnt working properly.

anyone got any ideas or solutions? arghhhh!
