Default 7psi limit revisited...

I have triple checked everything now and still the same thing.

I was talking to another turbo honda owner over the weekend and he had an avc-r etc.. and he said the avc-r would not allow you to boost past double the wastegate spring and that he had the same problem as me and he fixed it by buying a bigger spring? Anyone else here of this? Should i spend the money on a new spring?

k

What solenoid duty cycle is your AVC-R peaking at? If it is below 100%, then something else is wrong.

What do you have the start duty cycle set to?

well hopfully once it is all worked out it is a crazy thing!

I was in bed sick today but i had to go to the store to get some drugs and played with the boost controller.

My starting settings

Boost set at .55 kg/cm2
duty at 50%
Start duty 0%

peak boost .51kg/cm2 max duty cycle in the 40% range

boost set at .55 kg/cm2
duty at 30%
start duty at 39%

peak boost .66 kg/cm2 max duty cycle at 73%

So i think that the start duty cycle was the problem or part of it?
