wanting to know if this will work or not...
i am fixing to get my gsr swap and then later on i'm gonna be JRSCing it, i was wondering if the Vortec After-Cooler Unit would work on the JRSC? i don't really have a clue why i'm asking, i guess i'm just trying to put 2 and 2 together. plz no bashing, i'm just curious if there was any way possible it would work.
also, is the jackson racing header a good one to invest in for the JRSC? i was thinking of getting a DC 4-2-1 Ceramic and putting that heat wrap on it. i was just wondering if anyone has tried it and has compared it to other headers out there.
thanx

no the vortech aftercooler will definetly not work with the jrsc... you want to cool the intake charge after the sc has heated it up not before... with the jrsc u would be attempting to cool an ambiant intake charge.
best header for the sc will be a Kamikaze header ...

yes... they have fitment problems and the ceramic coating tends to flake off , and they sometime blow the center gasket ....
but they will make the most power --------
If your concerened about the gasket, change it to a copper one and change the bolts ... I f your concerned about the ceramic coating then get it proffesionally ceramic coated from another company like jethot...
