I have a stock B18C (10.6 cr) in my hatch and want to go turbo, how much would it cost me to be fully prepped and turbo'd? I am talking from tuning (hondata, crome, etc.) to maybe needing lower compression pistons, sleeving, whatever necessary. I was considering getting a $1k turbo kit on eBay but I know its not just that simple. Thanks for the help.

 

There's no magic number. Look in the FAQ and you'll get a pretty good idea depending on what stuff you want.

 

ebay turbo kits are ****, if you're gonna boost your gsr might as well do it right and spend the extra $$ now instead of in the long run

 

wait....you're going to build and sleeve a GSR just to put a shitty Ebay setup on it?? That's a huge waste IMO.

What are your power goals?? Stock GSR's can handle a good amount of power if you build a good setup and find a decent tuner...

 

first question you should ask your self.....how much power do i want? then after u answer that questions research on what u need to get there.

you aren't ready to turbo your car, when you are you will know answer to this question all by yourself(as well as the various other questions your probably going to ask like what turbo, what intercooler, do I need a BOV yadda yadda).
