vti and vto in vafc.
sup guys. i was wondering whats vti and vto on vafc? well when my vtec engages vto says its on. but the vti is off. just wondering. my oil pressure valve isnt wired up yet can it be that?

vti is when the ECU sends the signal to activate the solenoid. This signal is intercepted by the VAFC. The solenoid doesn't even get to see this signal with the VAFC in place.
vto is when the VAFC sends the signal to activate the solenoid.
I believe the only time the vto = ON and vti = OFF, is if the VTEC crossover point on the VAFC is less than whatever crossover rpm the ECU you're running is sending out. Maybe you're running a JRSC.

I don't know know what you have it set at on the VAFC. Compare the stock crossover rpm and the rpm set on the VAFC. You can figure the rest out.
