They use the same parts as a EG coupe in which the sky is the limit on what you want to do. you need to base the parts you need on the engine bay (which shares with the hatchback of the same model year) and the engine (in which there are plenty of examples of B16s here).

There ARE very reliable "kits" available for your use. You simply need to ask the right questions:

Power level
Budget
Use of the car / purpose
Health of the engine stock
AirCon or Power steering.. do you want to keep these?
Engine management - who's available in your area?

Answer those and we can get started!!! And welcome!!

Yup exact same front end as 92-95 civics so charge piping, downpipes will work. There are a few exhausts that fit the 4 door but nothing suitable for turbo use so that's where custom work will be needed, everything else turbo related will bolt right up

Power level= 2-300hp.
Budget= this is probably not happening right now, so i get some time to save up, but i guess between 1-2000$
Use of the car / purpose= this is a road car, maybe a couple of trackdays
Health of the engine stock= the engine have got just under 100k on it, everything seems to run smooth and work as it should.
AirCon or Power steering.. do you want to keep these? = yes, this is something i would like to keep because as i said, this is a car that i will use.
Engine management - who's available in your area? i live in Norway, so probably not something you have ever heard of, but there is a couple of tuning shops around where i live.

Not gonna make 300 on 2,000 dollars... and definitely not on 1000.

Well, the question is more like "what are you trying to do with the car?".. Don't get so discouraged so easily. No big modification on honda that's worth doing is ever inexpensive. If you're just looking for a more "spirited" driving experience, you can stay naturally aspirated without the need of a turbocharger, as long as you're on a circuit track, and not just drag racing. (You'd never catch those turbo volvos... they are very fast in a straight line)

But you CAN have a turbocharger setup, as long as it is done properly, within your budget, and the limits of the engine you propose to use. But for the better parts, I'd definitely upgrade your budget to allow for the "incidentals", that some people here may be taking for granted.

I love the feeling when a car accelerates fast, but i have never been to much of a fan of drag racing, will probably try it a couple of times.
what i am trying to do with the car, well, first i improved handling with a new stiffer suspension, better front brakes and some other parts for handling, so now i figured, i need myself som more power. What i want with the car is probably 2 main things.
1. i want show people that the honda is capable of alot even though it is only a 1.6L.
2. Improvement.

Someone asked me when i was installing the new suspension, "when are you finished with the car?" and i answerd, "the suspension, tonight, the car, when i sell it or die"

there is ALWAYS something i want to be done, but for now i want more power

I have done turbo conversions on a couple volvo 240s and a 940, the consept is pretty much the same i think, but i am going to school to be a car so my techer probably know all about it.

The thing is, i love my car, and the only reason i do things like this is because i love doing it, too give it to a shop to install something for me, is not happening.
but i know alot of people who knows alot about car tuning.
so to install something properly wont be a problem i think!
