Ok so a quick run down of mods that I have built LS sleeved block with a VTEC head, big turbo etc...

The problem is that when I am in the top of 4th and 5th in a run and the let off I get a CEL that says the VTEC pressure.

So what could be the issue. In 1st-3rd all is ok and 4th only some times I have the problem.

I was thinking about using a thicker oil possible like a 5W40 or 10W40 but it only started doing it after the turbo install. There seems to be no oil pressure problems, and the oil return is no kincked on the turbo.

Any insite would be great.

look and see if the oil pan has been bottomed out. if the pan is to close to the pickup it will do this.

Nope oil pan is good....

I even took the pan off to check the pick up, and all is good.

 

Any other ideas....TTT

 

how old is the engine?? possible that teh bearings are screwd?? maybe the vtec sol assm is bad?
