you can go 350 but this is the 4.6L northstar engine....with a roots blower!

not sure where to get more info but i hear this is a kit thats for sale to put in big motor and RWD!

Oh boy oh boy, how did you come accross that?

Good job the guys did on the install, but I can damn sure think of 1000 other cars that I would rather put a V8 in.

You can tell it's a bunch of V8 guys doing it because of the tell tale crush bent pipes = only import people worry about mandrel bends

I've seen this kinda of thing done to miata's, rx7's, and of course my favorite stick a ls1 or crate 350 in an old porsche 914 nothing like a mid-engine v8!

Projects like the Focus are fine, *as long as people don't associate it with a brand name.* What I mean is, is it, or any other one-off-what-if car something you can buy from the dealer? No, so the thing is a fun little experiment and nothing more. I always get bent when someone will see something like that and say, "That's a fast Ford." No, it's a fast car. If you can't buy it, it not real. Kind of like a hybrid H22 Civic being being a fast "Honda", but I digress

That actually looks like a Cobra SVT Supercharged V8 in there. Notice the SVT logo on the casing of the blower. With 400+ hp and 400+ ft lbs of torque that thing must be a monster. Id drive it!

Actually it is a DOHC 4.6 liter Cobra (SVT) engine!


I have seen them with the 5.0Liter in person, But i am a large fan of the 4.6liter OHC Engine!

Yeah they had a few of them on display at one of the big sport compact races at Moroso last year. They even have carbureted versions lol. This is the first time im seeing one with SVT power though, sick.
