Default vtec head w/ SC possible?

Ive got a JRSC runnin 10 lbs on a pretty much stock crx si and im wondering if its at all possible to stick a D16Y8 vtec head on the car without having to worry about much. I also plan to convert the car to obd1 when i do this so i can run uberdata.

I know i need the y8 head, y8 distributor, y8 head gasket, y8 timing belt, and a obd0-obd1 conv harness. The stock a6 injectors will be switched out for dsm 450's and the pm6 ecu will be changed to the p28.

-Will there be a rise in compression that might affect boost levels/knock? I already have to run 93 oct.
-Also, will the blower hook up to the head without a problem?

Im still in the research stage of this and most write-ups are installs w/ the stock IM, so any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I don't know if the IM ports will match up, but according to this:

http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm

Compression goes from 9:1 to 10:1. Big difference.

Should be easily fixed with a cometic head gasket. It alone droped the CR on my b18c from 10.5 to about 9.1.
