ok here's the problem guys.......About 2 months before I put my turbo on my car started the cut in and out of vtec. (b16 crx) So, I swapped solenoids and checked all of the wiring and nothing changed it. Car pulls great in 1st and 2nd. I don't have a clue anymore. Only other thing i was thinking is that the valves need to be adjusted. Anyone ever had this kind of problem before. thanks -tim also i have plenty of oil and the wiring is fine

Does your speedometer work properly? Have you checked the

oil latley? Is it throwing a check engine code if so what ones?

only codes is for 02 sensor but when i had my o2's hooked up before it still didn't work properly my oil is fine i think my thermostat might be going bad because the car overcools on very cold mornings other than that i just don't know what else it could be

get an oil press. guage and check your oil press, this is most likely your problem. You could be low on oil, your oil pump may be taking a **** or your oil pickup may be clogged.

If it was the oil you would be getting a Vtec code so

I'm out of ideas if its just throwing a O2 sensor code.

If it is not an oil pressure problem, it could be a temperature sensor problem or speedo problem. Too low oil pressure, too low temperature or too low mph reading at the computer will shut off your vtec. It is NOT the selenoid or the wiring or it would not have any vtec at all.

I was having troubles with my vtec on my 94 lude and I discovered that I was leaking oil and that was the culprit. I didn't throw any codes however, just vtec wouldn't kick in and if it did, it was at a high rpm and it wouldn't feel very good.

kool ill try the gauge the only other thing i think it could be is the thermostat because during the winter my car was overcooling would not come off the bottom of temp gauge now that it's hot im not having any problems with it
