Default ebay FMIC

Does anyone know if these FMIC on ebay are any good?

http://stores.ebay.com/Extreme-Turbo-Systems

The core is 25x5.5x2-7/8, with 3" thick end tanks and 2 1/2 inlet and outlet.

The core measures 25x7x2 .8, the tank to tank is 30" and tube to tube is 33", and has 2 1/2 inlet and outlets.

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotor...ws=50

Intercooler measures 31" wide (including end tanks), 6 1/2" high and a whopping 2.75" thick with a 2 1/2" inlet and outlet. Includes 2 1/2" square mounting brackets as seen in the above photo.

That's my problem, I already contacted Streetimports.com. But they don't ship to the Netherlands. So I'm looking into other options.

Yeah, I've already mailed him and got an answer back really quick. But I've read a lot of bad but also good reviews from him on H-T. So I've got some mixed feelings about ordering from him.

I went through my received email. Both streetimports.com and http://www.johnnyracecar.com/ don't send to the Netherlands. This is the response I got from them:

streetimports.com:
Unfortunately not.

Thanks in advance,

http://www.johnnyracecar.com:
Sorry, but I can't accept a payment from you or ship to you at this time.

So I guess it's no use asking again.

those street imports ICs look shady to me. I just looked at one last night. There are pretty much no turbulators in the tubes, which means that there is significantly less surface area for the hot air to lose its heat. I would never run one. Also the cast endtanks, while not a bad design, are over 1/2" think and turn what should be a lightweight tube and fin IC into a boat anchor. I was shocked when i picked it up. I have gently cradled many an IC and this thing feels like it's full of water...

Jockobo, can you compare it with another IC or is this the first IC you have? On what car have you installed the FMIC? I'm thinking of buying the one on the second pic.

Netherlands? Wow. A friend of mine shipped an intercooler there about 1.5 years ago.

Here's a pic of it installed. its on a ls motor with a t25 at 15 psi. not really sure how well it works since i havent been to the track since i put it on since i got it on. Im satisfied with it since it really dont cost that much. it has a pretty good amount of fins on the inside too.

Jockobo, it looks great on your car! And if it fits your car it will probably fit mine as well. We (almost) share the same front.

synik, that FIMC looks really great. The pics on ebay aren't that well, but your pics show the FMIC really good. Please share us the pics with the FMIC installed on your car!

i bought my IC off ebay looks sumthin like those same size at least
when i got it i found that it was just a diesel truck intercooler cut in half with the end tanks welded up. it fits great on my civic and seems to run good havent found ne boost leaks yet.

i got it dirt cheap so for the price i figured it was worth a shot. Its up to you man usually the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true thou.
