vtec chokes
hey, i got a stock h22 running 6-7 lbs using a VAFC, 450cc, FMIC, 2.5" exhaust, iridium plugs. VAFC setting from -38 to -35, idle to redline, throttle 30%idle and 50%WOT. Soon as i hit 4900 engine chokes and throws me foward a bit. sometimes it misfires and goes to 5200 and chokes again. can't get it higher than that, feels like a rev limiter or fuel cut. I'm working on getting a cromed p28.

Get a wideband, gap your plugs, get rid of the vafc hack

It sounds like when you hit vtec you are blowing out your spark, have you gap'ed you plugs. they say .28 go alittle lower and try that. go to about .20 maybe even lower and see if that helps, hope this helps.
