Adjusting the BDL cam gears
Does anyone know what the markings actually mean on the Bdl gears. when I was getting my car tuned last weekend the tuner said he couldn't figure them out, and their not like others. I had to stop short on the tune due to problems but I'm going back next week and I want him to be able to tune the gears. http://www.fm-motorsport.com/CG2.gif This is the best pic I could find of them. I can post some better ones tomarrow when I go to my shop cuz thats where the car is.

Re: Adjusting the BDL cam gears (92cxturbo)
they look similar to golden eagle cam gears, i am pretty sure you match up the marking degrees. the last mark on the outside of the gear is 9 degrees and the last mark on the inside of the gear is 9 degrees, so you move them so they align and that gets you 9 degrees and it works the same for all of the other markings. the gear is currently at zero because the zero marks are aligned. if you wanted 5 degrees, you match up the other two lines that have the dot.

Apparently your tuner doesn't know how to read a vernier scale.
