Default Vertical flow Intercooler

I heard somewhere that a vertical flowing intercooler wil cool better than a horizontal flowing one. I have the chance to pick this up for $300, mint condition. The core is 20" by about 7".

Vertical intercoolers are not better all together, however their design allows more cooling rows per given area compared to a horizontal IC (ie drag, revhard, fmax) of the same size and more cooling rows is more efficient compared to just lengthening the ones you have.

Thats why I'm willing to pay $300 for one, as opposed to paying the same to someone for one the same size core, that they welded up for them the same price. The guy had it on his car for like a week, then descided on a an air/water. This was on a supercharged mustang. Pretty much only used as a drag car.

They do have less pressure drop. That always made me wonder, why do we never see these on Hondas? Is it fitment issues?

Why, when this is a better unit for the same price? As it's been said, this one will flow better, with less pressure drop. Plus, the core is bigger. .And personally, i Don't like the looks of the welds on your intercoolers. Please don't ***** my thread to hawk your wares.
