Default Intercooler Size Too Small?

My intercooler measures 22x6x2.25, how much boost/hp do you think this intercooler supports? Should I get rid of it and get a bigger one? BTW, if it matters I'm gonna be running a t3/t4e. Thanks

how much boost are you looking at running? is this the spearco intercooler from the drag kits?

for right now im just planning on 6-8psi, but later down the line i might try for 12-14 psi. as for the intercooler, i dont know what it is. i bought my kit used and it had this intercooler instead of the standard revhard one.

i was always told that the bigger the intercoller isnt always better. they are usually more efficaient when they are smaller, because the fins are closer together.
something to that affect. but i was told this from someone who actually build pro cars.

12-14 should be good also. im running the spearco intercooler from the drag gen 3 kit with 16psi and it runs fine. ill probably upgrade sooner or later.
