Default VAFC and LS?

I am planning on going with the Drag 3 kit as soon as possible. How well does the fuel soultion that comes with the kit work? How much boost is the drag fuel soultion be able handel? Will I need a VAFC just to get the kit to run safely? I know alot of turbo cars are using the VAFC so no doubt there are advantages....do those same advantages aply to non-vtec cars? Thanks for listning and any advice.

a SAFC can help for the money but it is not a bullet proof solution.. All it does is tricks your stock ECU to run a little more lean/rich and certain RPM increments.. It doesnot compensate for boost and therefore is not a good solution to tuning a boosted car.

Well, ok. What if I have a chipped ECU that already boostes up the injectors. It makes my car ( N/A ) run rich all the time, even with my FPR turned all the way down. Would it be a wise decision to still buy a s-afc for when I go with a turbo?
Like I said, it runs rich already with the chipped ECU. It does its job now, but what about under F/I conditions??

Obviously I am not too familar with these piggyback computers. At all actually. Do most people just upgrade their injectors and increase the fuel pressure acording to an air/fuel gauge? I am intrested in the most flexible fuel solution that is going to allow my car to be a reliable daily driver, plus be safe on the weekends when I am driving the snot outta the car on the autocross course. What works? Thanks for the heads up about the limitaions of the piggybacks.

a few of my friends are running 370 injectors with a 8:1 ratio fmu and v-afc.... you need to tune it with a wide band o2 sensor to get it to its optimal performance.... im looking into running some 440s with a s-afc(im non vtec) and ive been told numerous times that the afc can tune the car so it will idle with those big injectors....

like i said ealier the AFC does not compensate for boost. therefore if u tune your car at 7psi and then u turn the boost up to 10, there goes all your tuning. and that is risky also.. For boosted applications i would reccomend hondata 2B or an apex power FC, its not that much more expensive but well worth it. only problem with those items is it is tough to find shops who not how to work with them but u can always learn on your own.
