Default VAFC hack turbo problem

After the hack my boost is only going to 9.6psi which is the tial wastegate spring setting. My manual boost controller (TurboXS) was allowing 12psi. The set screw was very sensitive to control boost. After backing out the set screw nearly all the way you can here the vacuum seeping out on idle. Now my boost gauge reads 12-13psi, but I have no more control to increase boost. I have a t3/t4e on a 00 civic si. Wouldn't that net more boost than that? Why did my settings change?

The "hack" should have nothing to do with the amount of boost the boost contoller is running. Look around for something else that may have been changed/unplugged during install.

You are using the AFC hack whick lets the map sensor read boost, and the afc alters the signal to the ecu. This works fine other than the factory honda map sensor only can read up to about 9.55 (or 9.6 like yours) you need to get a GM 3 bar map sensor or some other map sensor. However, i would not recomend running your car like this. If your ecu thinks you are running 9.6 psi, but you are really running 12, it is actually leaning it out dramatically at full boost which is not good. Hope this helps and i may have misread your question, but i thought i would chime in from past experiances.
