Has any one tried the afc hack on a vafc-2? Will it work with i-vtec on an 02 si, looking to only boost 7 psi, uprade injectors, etc,etc, only concern is fuel management. Any info would be appriciated.

I am running the hack with a safc2 and have seen people run the hack with a vafc so it will work. Regarding the i-vtec, in the safc2 instuction manual it shows wiring diagrams for the 02 si.

 

I thought the ivtec was hard to hack and so forth...
I bet it doesnt work.

 

It's what Cybernation does, or at least their black box piggybacks with the AFC to modify MAP sensor signal - I don't see any other way they get the stock ECU not to freak out under boost, do you? Black box just offsets the MAP signal to a certain point so that people don't look at the AFC settings and go "oh, it's just an AFC hack"

If you've ever seen or installed one of Cybernation kits... might not be a good thing to copy *anything* they do.
