Default vacuum lines too long for a manual boost controller? MBC

i know you want the shortes vac. lines as possible, but would it be bad to extend them so long that you can adjust your boost controller from inside the car?

I dont see why you couldnt and Imma bump this bitch because thats a dam good idea, no need to get out of the car, pop the hood on the side of the road, turn, boost, get out adjust blah blah

Can just get Cathy to do it since shes down tehre anyways

Giddy up

usually they say longer lines from the WG is bad and will cause bleeding off boost or spiking. I kept mine short and put the MBC like right next to my intake. Prob not even a foot off the turbo

you can buy a cable that runs to the cockpit so that you can keep the vacuum lines short!

I think Only Hallman makes that for their kits.

I run a dual stage MBC. When I want higher boost i just hit the button to raise it where I have it set to. Worksnice.

So is there something wrong with running 5ft vac lines? Im assuming that very very brief instant it takes for the air to pass through would have a large effect or no?

i know they sell it.. it is also twice the price i got my boost controller for....

i want to keep it short as possible because of the change in pressure to move the ball inside... so i'm going to keep it near the radiator support i guess... (somewhere as close as possible) that's why i want the cable.
