vacum lines??
Hi I am finishing the install of my 14b (on a d16z6) tonight, and just had a couple of questions.
Their is a place for a vacum line on the wastegate, and one right after the compressor turbo (connected to turbo, before intercooler) do I just run a vacumm line between these two?
Vacumm line on the BOV can be connected to any vacum if I am correct? Such as the vacumm that goes to the fuel regulator?
What PSI is stock for a 14b?
How many degrees of retardation, should I use?
thank you for any help, should have running tommorow. We are trailoring it to exhaust shop tonight for downpipe in the morning!!

Re: vacum lines?? (Mr_Bojangles)
-ya you can use the port on the compressor cover to accuate the WG. If you want a little higher psi you can hook it up somewhere after the IC.
-bov vac needs to be somewhere between the throttle plate and the head (fpr, evap purge, brake booster etc..)
-i want to say about 7psi for a stock actuator.
-as far as timing I would pull 2-3* at the dizzy (don't forget the ECU jumper) if your doing the hack or an FMU other wise run a conservative 17-19 total if your doing uberdata or the like.

when you set your ignition timing at the dizzy you need to jump the little 2 wire plug the hangs just above the ECU or the changes won't 'stick'. A paper clip or scrap of wire works fine.
