Default VACCUM LEAK HELP


A buddy of mine is having a major problem with a vaccum leak. We have checked all vaccum sources that we can think of and we have not found anything. Any suggestions as to where else we can look. i just install t25 and 450cc it idiling up and down, could it be the injectors stock o-ring i mod.

i heard ppl installing bigger injectors can cause bad idle. sorry i cant help.

when the car is running spray some carb cleaner or brake cleaner on the seals that hold the injectors in the intake manifold if it surges then you found the vaccum leak, the injectors are sucking in air. Another way to tell is by looking at the seals if they are bulging out, they are supposed to be flushed with the intake manifold.

does anybody sale replacement o-ring or seal,that you dont have to mod or cut to make it fit like stock. the stock ring i have in now is petty flushed with the intake manifold.
i might have over cut the ring . i will post a pic in the morning.

usually you dont have to cut them just put a little bit of oil on them and then slide the injectors in.

i spray some carb cleaner on the injector no change in idling.can it be the basemap that not tune be giving me the surge 12k to 25k it does it over aand over i think the timing is advanced for boost but i dont have any charge pipe. shoud i boost on it first them see what it does

The map won't affect the idle like that.

I would say:
vac leak
IACV
high idle sensor screw thing

what is this 3 wire iacv something about change it to a 2 wire iacv.because i have a y7 could that be it.
