Default V-Tec Plus turbo question

i have heard how vtec can cause reliabilty problems on a turbo vehicle, i am in the process fo turboing my car and still want it to be pretty reliable. Now could i for the street get a dual stage boost controller and run around 6 psion the street w/ vtec and then when at the track switch it to 10 psi or so w/o vtec? will i see any noticable gains in reliability or should i just top vtec from egaging all together?

vtec isnt unreliable when boosted!!!!!!
Its got a little bit to much power robbing valveoverlap but youl make more hp with vtec on than off!

That comment wasn't directed towards you.

I've had quite a few usernames on H-T, just forget my passwords or usernames and have had e-mail accounts canceled in the past.

i agree with you. vtec increases flow thru the cylinder head thus increasing power. it has nothin to do with reliability. vtec is even more effective with boost and can cause massive power gains over a non vtec head
