Using a z31 T3 on my GSR....
Well first off let me show you a dyno of a super 60 T3 on a B18C motor from Evens tunning.

That's the kind of power I am after. I have a maxrev log manifold that has been collecting dust now for over 5 years and most of the piping I have left over from past setups/projects and I have a T3 from a Z31 laying around. So I know it's a standerd 60 trim T3 and not a super 60 like the one shown above. My question is does it seem worth it to try this out or am I doing alot of work for min gains? I also have a set of ITR cams that I could put in my GSR motor but I am wondering with my lower power goals (250-280 whp) would I see any gains at all.

Re: Using a z31 T3 on my GSR....
the GSR cams will work better than the ITR cams when running such a small turbo on a log manifold. The super 60 isnt going to give much more power than the regular t3 60. is about 2.5-3 lbs/min output mor on the super 60 compressor wise and it might have a little better flowing turbine wheel. That turbo should net you close to the same power, might have to run 12-13 pound of boost vs 10-11 pounds but also remember every engine is different and there will be a fluctuation in power output anyway
It will be torquey seeing the turbo will spool so quickly, nice car to drive. not a monster but very fun to drive.
