What bearings are you using? I had my machine shop take the measurements and special order them it ended up being Federal mogul bearings.

ACL or OEM bearings should be fine. Unless they're oversized bearings.

apparently the problem was in the way they were built..on the rod where the bearing is held in place the pin or bolt or whatever it is was cut on the inside rather than the outside so the bearing wont fit, honda oem or aftermarket so I haft to get eagle to overnight me a new set of rods...pain in the ***!!

I dont mean to sound negative, but you know when everyone says of yeah, save your money and get eagles. Theres no difference from them or crowers. Well theres an example. A rod that is made over seas with less quality control. I mean...so they made a bunk rod, well what happened to the quality control people making sure every rod is in spec? Thats why id stick to a crower vs a eagle...you would have your motor together by now.....Mike

I had a similar problem so I sent them back and went crower (thanks ben). Holding both sets side by side you can see why the crowers are twice the price. I am happy they did not fit as I like the crowers a lot better.
