Default upgrading turbo, ideas?

ok, I have a t3 turbo .48 on the hot side, .42 on the compressor, I was originally just going to put it on and see where it tops off and go from there, but now I am thinking about buying a super60 compressor housing and wheel and having someone put it together for me, do you guys think I will need a new bearing housing for this to work? you guys got any good sites for parts or people that would do this kind of build up?

oh yea, goals are 250-300 whp on a d16z6, I am stubborn and refuse to move up to a T3/T4, I would rather have a broad power band with less peak HP than vise versa.

how much power were you putting down with it compared to the T3/T4, also what boost levels were you running on each turbo?

ahh, obviously same boost level on two different the turbos, the bigger turbo is going to flow more creating more power, anyhow I plotted some #'s against the super 60's compressor map and the guessed boost levels it's going to take to reach 250-300 put it in the compressors prime efficiency range, so back to the question fellas, do you guys think I will need a new bearing housing and can you point me to some good references to some one that could do this build up for me?

I belive the correct term is that it "BLEW" haha, anyway, that turbo would be good for a lower displacement engine such as a d series or even a b16 but I can see it being really ineffecient on a larger engine.

210 with a T3 super 60??

I've talked to someone on here from cheapturbo (I think that's where there from) was quoted a price that cost more than a new turbo

I do not like junkyard ghetto set ups, I don't think anyone is reading the thread! I DO NOT plan on using the turbo as is, I want to upgrade it to a T3 super 60, just trying to figure out what all it would take/find a reputable person to do it
