uberdata problem with getting a basemap to run!!!!
i figured i might get more hits or help over here in the h-t community!!!
ok i have a p06 in a 00 hatch with stock engine!!! i for the life of me cant get the damn thing to run a basemap correctly. I have tried bbka's with vtec off and changed the injector sizing! if i cut my j1 jumper it will run like normal!! i have written basemaps for a p28 that work fine on a gsr swap. i have a willem burner and am using 29c256's i am lost guys i am lost.
also when i plug my lm-1 wideband in the thing runs like 15afr and up just boggy as hell with the 3500 rev limit type thing.
help please

The low rev limit tells me there is an issue with the rom. Either it is looking for something your ecu doesn't have (knock, pa, injector test etc.) or it didn't burn correctly.
Yup, check the settings and make sure the chip is actually being burned. I had to do my friends po6 like 5 times befoer it would run. then it was fine. The willem burner I use is kind of finicky i think.
are you sure you sized the injecters correctly??? cuz when i did mine, we messed up the injecter sizing, and it idled very very rough and when u gave it gas it died instantly
just a though

try this.
burn the chip and then compare the chip to the map, if they are the same then go from there. but for all you know the chip didnt even burn correctly.

well i have a willems burner, and in the burning program there is a tab that says "verify"
so what you would do is stick/keep the chip in the burning socket, then reload the bin you just burned and hit the verify button. It will then tell you if the bin file matches what is on the chip.
simple as that

Check that the 27C256/29C256 speed is at most 170ns.
Try burning the stock P06 program to chip, it is in PGMFI archives. If you still get limp home mode, you know that the problem is in your chip/socket/etc area and you work at it until the problem goes away.

What version are you using? I believe (but someone needs to verify) that the P28 v 1.65 has a bug in the first vac column. The numbers are too low and need to be raised.
no it works when i write to the p28 devnull i believe has solved my p06 problem and i use 1.63, 1.65-3 and 1.66 just playing for now!!! when i get back from atl this weekend i will prolly start putting the turbo on!!!!!!!

Try reading the chip with the Epromer software and save it to a bin file, then go into Uberdata and check if the settings are the same. Sometimes the burner does not burn correctly and the settings get fugged up.
