Know a guy in the panhandle that was running a twin charged crx. Not sure his screen name tho. Who knows Javier screen name?
Twin charging is when u have a supercharger and a turbocharger right? Don't understand why they would use the term "twin" when the chargers aren't twins... You know?
But yea IAT's could get pretty dangerous with that. You would need water to air heat exchanger as well as a very good intercooler.

Running a twincharge setup for two years +
'92 HB D16 with a SC14(84cid ) s/c and a HE351ve turbo modified vgt locked at different settings.
3" IC piping throughout with a 31"x14"x3" intercooler, IAT never get over 180deg F at 70deg F ambient temps, while >30psi for more 5sec intervals
The S/C has an a/c clutch pulley had is hook up to the old a/c switch on the dash.
If I want to push the car hard, usually to upset a diesel or vette owner then I hit the button.
Tuned on Crome PRo with 4bar map and 1200CC Injector Nation injectors.
The car has been taken apart to update the turbo manifold, add a full tucked radiator, brake system upgrade, suspension upgrade, steering, and cleanup the engine bay in appearance.

I was told the iat will go extremely high by one tuner and told it would be lower than just using the jrsc alone by another tuner
Ask Enmo racing they used a 46cid/rev jrsc with a turbo(forgot which one for) at one lap of Americas.
I know the fabricator of the setup, and we discussed the IAT issue and they did not have huge problem, b/c they kept the setup conservative, 300+whp.
The torque was broad and flat on the dyno sheets I've seen.

Well I am definitely looking for more power but I'm looking for low boost from the jrsc to increase efficiency and the lower end of the powerband. I'm thinking around 7 or 8 psi on the blower but not sure if I will need lht to keep the iat's down.
If you want run above 6k regularly with 80F ambient temp LHT may not be a bad idea.

There's a good one I'll try and dig up that was made not long ago.
Dude had one hand and built a silver 96-00 civic coupe with a y8. Used a jrsc and an hx35 on a cast manifold. He got the setup up and running almost immediately and once he fine tuned it he said it ran amazingly.
Just gotta find it lol.

Yea that's it. I couldn't remember his screename.
It was incredible how fast he designed and built the system. Everyone else just makes threads about wanting to do it... He just went on ahead and did the damn thing.
It's also impressive how fast he built the car for only having one hand, most 2 handed people can't even build a basic setup that fast, it's even more impressive to watch him driving the wheels off that thing at a hillclimb with only one hand.
He should be proof and motivation for everyone here (and in almost every situation in life) that it doesn't matter what kind of limitations one has, if you found something you're passionate about or have a goal that there's no reason you can't accomplish something.
Adapt and overcome

Build still in progress its more complicated that just a twin charge setup looking for big numbers on 93 and e85 plus trying to get 300whp outof my daily jrsc setup
If you're going to keep the psi that low, why not just get a small turbo? It's gonna spool super fast and you'll have power everywhere. The only advantage to twinchargering I see is helping low end power and spool with a huge turbo. If you're not going to run a big turbo, just stick to a correctly sized turbo for the engine and enjoy.
