Default Intercooler setup help needed for custom mani

Alright guys, so I am in need of some ideas. Here's my manifold setup, it'll pretty much set the turbo where the A/c condenser would sit. I'm having trouble on what kind of intercooler setup I should go with. If I clock the turbo to the drivers side, run two small intercooler setups, or...maybe an Air-water setup.

I'm going to be boosting at sub-25/30 psi (for race) and around 18 for street. I'm not going to daily this car by any means. More/less just take it out to the show's and meets and maybe...MAYBE a few little run in's here and there so you can keep that in mind as well.

how much clearance do you have from the back of the turbo to the engine block for the downpipe?

for the intercooler you can get a back door or clock the compressor housing to face the drivers side and just mock up ic piping and run it normal 180 around the rad support into the intercooler

I have enough room for my 4'' downpipe

But see, I don't want the turbo to be blocked by an intercooler. That's another reason why I was just thinking about getting an air-water cooler but I don't know.

clock the outlet to 3 oclock and either backdoor it or run it around out the fenderwell conventionally.

+1. My boss is running one of these on his MR2, which doesn't have any good spot for an air to air. It works pretty well. And for a drag car (something tells me this isn't a turbo built for road racing ) you can fill a reservoir with ice, too.

No because no one locates an IC in a Honda fenderwell.

Ding Ding Ding.

Mike. I know who makes that manifold. I can ask them what happened to their intercooler piping.

Sweet, thanks Jarrod. Let me know.

I've looked into the water/air coolers too. Well, depending on how stuff goes I'll figure it out once I get it in the car.

why not just run a front mount setup like Cft's red hatch had . with the turbo outlet connecting rite to the intercooler . and the intercooler offset to the passenger side as far as needed for clearance to not block the turbo intlet as you want it

VVVVVVVVVV theres a pic i couldnt find any

yea i know the set-ups arent the same just trying to give him a idea of what he could do since he didnt want to block the turbo intlet with the intercooler

Well, I had thought of that already as well, but CFT's turbo sits like in parallel with the crank pulley. Mine sits right next to the radiator.
