Twin Turbo Del Sol Si???

Twin Turbo Del Sol Si???
Car: 1994 Honda Del Sol Si. Fully built up engine. Gaskets, ignition, fuel, air flow, pistons, rods, cooling... EVERYTHING. So I'm guessing it will support twin turbo power. Here's my thoughts on it. Two turbos doesn't seem like a great idea on a 4 cylinder engine at first but then I thought of this... What if I got one small turbo and one big turbo? That way, the small one would spool up fast for low rpm power, and by the time I'm half way through the range, the big one would have spooled up for high rpm power. It seems to make logical sense. So here are my questions.
1. Is it possible to twin turbo this car?
2. Is it possible to TT it with 2 different turbos?
3. Is the concept I explained a good and/or productive idea?
4. If it is a good possibility to do this, what turbos should I use?
5. If I TT it, will extensive welds have to be done, or will I be able to bolt on?
I appreciate all input from experienced people. Thanks so much!

About twin turboing your car I'm not sure but I do know there are twin turbo dsm's which is a 4 cylinder also plus anything is possible for the right price. Yes you can twin turbo with 2 different turbos. It's called a compound turbo setup and you use the smaller turbo to spool up the larger turbo. The concept is a good idea, in my opinion anyways. As for turbos you would want a small one that spools quickly like a 16g or something along those lines and for the larger turbo you could really go any reasonable size since you'll be helping it's spool time with the smaller one. I'm sure there will be some modification that needs to be made to TT your car. I don't think the Del Sol Si was ever meant for TT but with the right planning and of course the financial backing it should be achievable. I'm by no means an expert but this is what I've gotten through some research. And not to direct traffic away from the site or anything but there is some good info here on a compund turbo setup http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/cust...bo-set-up.html

Sounds like a great idea to me! I would port only one half of the cylinder head(for the larger turbo), maybe have a custom made cam with larger life on the one side for the bigger turbo. Yes you'll hafta have some custom made headers, but you'll be an innovator!! You could name the motor "2 Face," like the Batman villan!

there's actually a del sol around me thats twin turbo'd, his numbers are more or less 700whp, and it's a daily..
anyway, he has a pre-spool turbo.. if that helps any

The method your speaking of is called a compound turbo setup. Which actualy works quite well.

2. Little space, yes little space i def agree with you there i am not sure how if the 300zx's engine bay is but, i am sure that there is going to be room if you can fit a k20 or a h22 or a b18 in a del sol and boost it.(if this is a d-series engine).
