Default TURBOSMART BOV!

just purchase my new turbo car. a non honda. it has a turbosmart blow off valve. right now it's opening in high rpms not staying close even when i am on the throttle. a friend told me that it might be the spring going. i just want to know if anyone has experienced this with any blow off valve. if so how is this fixed? do i need to change the whole blow off valve. can i change the spring. my friend also sid something about changing the washers. i am sorry turbo is new to me wondering anyone can help.

Which model TurboSmart BOV is it, and your spring might be too soft for the boost level your running causing it to bleed off boost. Just call JRP they should be able to help you.
