Default turboing a mini me

As of right now, i have a stock d15b8. The 8 valve is a piece and shes slow. I was going to do a y8 mini me, but then I realized i'll have 12:1 for compression.. wouldn't that be too high for boost?

The turbo i have is a 15g, which will be running 7-9 psi.

Will it be less effective or will it be okay?

why risk it and break the ringlands off. get some 75mm vitaras for like 130 that'l put you at lower compression.

Don't boost on a basemap, especially not phearable's. It'll start your car and drive it down the road pretty well, but the boost tables have been a bit off on a couple that I touched. Not that it matters. They are basemaps and nothing more.

what will happen after that? will i have alot of problems? What should i do to tune it.. i know taking it somewhere is the best thing, but what if i can't do that.. or i just need it to start it to drive it somewhere to get it tuned?

Well, after that you should get it tuned. What will happen is your car runs well and doesn't **** the bed.
