Default Whats the highest compression ratio you can run with boost?

My question comes from me putting together a motor and wanting to boost it.
The problem is my CR is going to be somewhere around 11.3:1
is this too much compression to be able to run 6-7 psi of boost if tuned properly?

Nope, properly tuned you'll be fine with the right supporting parts.

I think stock h22's are 10.6:1 people boost those all the time more than 6-7 psi. But it is all in the tuning.

IIRC, F20C1 has a stock CR of 11.5:1 and people have made tremendous power on stock motors with marginal boost, it's all in the setup and the tune

If I'm not mistaken won't that yield about the same C/R as a stock GSR?. I boosted a motor built for NA (11.5:1 81mm B series) and had great results.

its all in the setup and tune. At the least you will need forged pistons and rods of course. You can prolly get away with stock sleeves depending on the engine (b = yes, d = maybe, f/h = ehhhh)

A good tuner can dial it right in on pump gas. But like has been stated in other threads, high comp turbo setups shine on RACE FUEL.
