Default turboedit timing

right now i am running 9psi on a first gen b16. I am using the safc hack and my car is running perfect. PLX wideband showing 12.5 afr throughout boost and no detonation issues. I wanted to get a 2 or 3 bar map and up the boost to 15 psi. I know with the hack, it will advance the timing quite a bit in boost, so i wanted to recurve the timing map on turboedit. the basemap for the pr3, though, does not have a boost retard option, so i will have to reconfigure the maps manually. how much timing should i take out to run 15psi safely?

u might be able to get away with making a normal basemap based on xenocrons writeup
just have the VAFC control ur VTEC point

and use that to go for now

Right now there isnt enough testing done on the 2-3bar maps right now to recommend you go try that with TE. You can certainly help test though...

You can play with the timing in the stock PR3 maps however you'll be retarding timing while you are in the vacuum ranges which will hurt driveability.

It's a toss-up...you are running a PR3 ecu too and in order to follow my write-up and use the PGMFI code you would need to run it in a PM6/PS9 ECU
