I have a Stock b16a. I want to do a turbo setup around 300-320, what would be the best setup to get approximatly those numbers.. Is it safe to do a turbo with a stock block?

 

Yeah it's safe with a good tune on a healthy motor..I personally had 300whp with a stock b16,you don't have to use my exact setup but this is what i had

t3/t4e 57 trim
meutek manifold
tial 38mm wastegate
ebay intercooler
2.5" pipes from ebay with beads on them
misc. silicon couplers and clamps
2.5" downpipe/ 3" exhaust
turboedit (obd0)
dsm 450 injectors
walbro 190 fuel pump
4 puck clutch with stage3 pressure plate
sunpro boost gauge,oil temp,and water temp

simple setup made over 300whp,

 

how much boost??

 

its not so much about boost its more about how much power you make.....

 

My setup was at a solid ~11 lbs. Wastegate placement on the manifold i had kept the boost stable
