Default turbo'd crx smoking from the turbo and exhuast

i got this car a few months ago and it had 5 qts of oil in it so i drained like 1 1/2 and its still smoking. i installed a 1g dsm bov and after that it still smoked and then started overheating and now my radiator fan dosent turn on. i need helpp!!!
car: 1990 crx si
engine:d16y5(sohc vtec-e) from a 6th gen civic
turbo: i have no clue. its a garret and thats all i know it has an internal wastegate and .46 a/r

any post will be greatly appraciated


oh and i have no muffler installed so its striaght pipe after the cat

sounds like a headgasket or seals. also sounds like your fan switch went bad too, try jumping the fan and see if it comes on

is your return line letting the oil drain directly into the oil pan? what color is the smoke?

yeah its returning stright to the pan and the smoke is white and its realllly thick when i hit the gas. i mean it pours out of the exhaust and the turbo

your head probably lifted. the same thing happen to me. take your head off, get it resurfaced, new headgasket, arp headstuds and you should be ok.
