I just got a 3" exhaust put on my car with a dynomax muffler I am running a b16a2 with a t3/4 .60 turbo, 35mm ewg, 450 blue top injectors and a resistor box. It is barely tuned right now with a vafc which sucks I am getting crome or uber soon. My problem right now is the turbo is not spooling i can only reach 2psi i am set for 7, my idle is also jumpy could this be caused by a vaccuum leak or could my ewg be messed up. I am not sure what to do right now!! I am fairly new to turbos and to be honest im a little scared right now because my car is running like ****, so please just bare with me. THANKS for the help guys!!

 

Check all of the charge pipes first. Then go to all the vacuum lines on the motor. More than likely your problem lies in one of those two places.

Build a boost leak tester, and test it.

 

A leaky downpipe won't effect spool.

Your idle issue will be a separate problem.

Do you have the wastegate ring in? I have seen that as the no spool culprit before

 

Yes I agree with VoltronR34...lots of people who run external wastegate setups forget to install the wastegate ring, so all the exhaust leaks out from there. That will couse a no boost issue.
A leaky downpipe is like running an open downpipe. It will not affect your turbo not spooling up.
Also check to make sure you have a good vacuum source to your wastegate and make sure that all the hoses go to where they're suppose to be.
