I have a garrett t3/t4 turbo and a tial wastegate. I am currently running a 6 pound spring. I noticed that it would only build 3 psi. I know the wastegate is opening because it is located right next to the alternator, and the paint is black where the wastegate opens.( no dump tube yet). I bought a boost controller and hooked it up and still no change, so I put a ten pound spring in. still nothing. Finally I said screw it and just unplugged the wastegate. 3psi all the way. Anyone know why? please let me know. thanks.
