Anyone using a internal wastegate on turbo boosting 13-14psi?
I got a garret T3 .63ar 60 trim turbo and im still using the internal wastegate. I got my boost controller set to 12 psi at the moment, when i hit full boost it spikes to 14 psi real quick then drops to 12psi and stays there. I wanan run a continuous 13psi without any spikes, could the internal wastegate be the problem? Should i port it out? I also have somewhat of an exhaust leak coming off the turbo around the downpipe,one of teh studs broke off the wastegate housing that hodls the dp on so only 2 out of the 3 bolts are holding it on causing it to leak,could this be contributing to the problem?

i ran 14 psi on my internal gate, 9 psi at the gate, the rest was thru an MBC

Any trouble with spiking, i dont even know what this wastegate boosts stock, but i got a crappy dawes device homedepot style mbc adjusting the boost.
