i have a revhard stage 2 on a 2000 civic Si. When i installed the kit it ran great for about three days. It felt like everytime i drove it, it would lose power. Finally it just stopped boosting, you can barely hear the BOV at WOT. i use to be able to hear the wastegate dumping, now it does not open because there is no boost. Bad turbo maybe.

 

well if the wste gate wasnt opening then you would def. have boost unless you have a major boost leak .. which sounds like the problem just go over all your piping again look forr a blown coupling... if none of that then your waste gate may be stuck open but you should be able to hear that..

 

I checked all the piping three or four times. i don't think the turbo is creating 7 lbs of boost to open the wastegate. I have the turbo off right now. it is driving me insane because i don't know what else to do.

 

check to see that the turbo spins freel and no shaft play .. if all that is right then you shouldnt have no problem ..also do you have a boost gauge to see if its boosting ..

 

Turbo spins freely no shaft play. The boost guage was reading 0.

 

there is no way its not boosting then, you have to have a leak some where in the piping or the waste gate is staying open .. did you check all the couplings maybe one ripped open and making it hard to see ...where is your vacum at on the gauge?

 

The wastegate is fine had it checked out it. Vac is about 15-20. I guess i can go over everything again. i will see what i can do. Thanks for the help.
