Default turbo to wastegate's vacuum help!!

So im kindda new here. And had a question about a problem. So my gt40 has no fitting for a wastegate line.. and I have twin 44's.. so how would I go about hooking them up? I don't wanna run off the IM either, as it will read a little lower. Should I drill and tap? Or use one of thoes fittings that go on the silicon? Or two of them? Or would a single one do for both, as long as I T them off??

It would read higher, any boost reference before the intercooler will mean pressure drop across the intercooler.

the compressor housing is a poor place for a boost reference. the airflow is turbulent and the pressure is never even.

hm.. so would having the wastegate hooked up to a vacuum block be more sufficient?

I don't get it. If the compressor housing is a poor place to get it from, then why would most turbos have it? But if getting it from there is a poor choice, then where would I hook up my mvr's?

Only Precision provides the actual tapped hole and fitting, while Turbonetics and Garrett provide a location to tap one if needed as an option..

You can get a vacuum manifold that hook to the break booster for multiple items. Dime intake manifold have multiple ports to use for vacuum reference

IPG also have a mini vacuum manifold (3 ports) that can be easily installed inline with the brake booster line. No need to tee anything off.

If I was to install this. How would it go. Or I mean before or after the split in the line that goes to the manifold from the brake booster? And it would be two for the wastegates, and one for the boost controller? Or bov? Any ways I think you guys pretty much answered everything I needed to know.. this is just I guess a bonus lol

It would go between the check valve and the booster. As long as it's installed between those two points, you can put it wherever you want to make it "pretty".

Locating between the check valve and booster where there is zero pressure?

I always take the reference from the charge pipe going into the t-body. This way it only sees positive pressure. Tial does not recommend the intake mani because there is also vacuum there. Realistically most will not see a problem and a lot of people do it this way though.

Uh...it won't see zero pressure there, it'll only see positive pressure. That's the purpose of the check valve.

Back to the basics for you. You are misunderstanding the purpose of the valve, and giving incorrect advice.

The check valve closes under positive pressure so you need to install the vacuum block between the intake manifold and check valve.
