Default Which Turbo to use?

So i have an integra with a fully built 9:1 compression Ls vtec motor:
What im looking for is a turbo that can give me at least 300hp, but most importantly im looking for a quicker spooling turbo that allows for more lower-mid range power but can also handle a good amount of power. Not looking to spend a whole lot of money, i currently have the garett .60 trim its a great turbo but its not designed for what im looking for. I want a quick street fast turbo

If your goal was 300whp, Im still wondering why it is you chose to build the motor for more power. A stock LSvtec motor can handle that power with a very good tune. But anyway.........

To answer your question. Any GT ball bearing turbo would give you the spool time you need with great response, good mid-range and good top end as well. A good choice would be a GT3071R. It will hit 300whp no problem, spool quick and give you room for more top end if you would like.

If you would like to do a bit bigger, go with the GT3076R. In all honestly, to hit 300whp, it can be attainable on the turbo you already have or any Garett t3/t4. If you dont plan on raising your hp goals, then i suggest you get the most cost effective, and go that route. The GT series are a bit expensive, and for that power goal, not the best cost effective.

make ur own thread, or search. It has been discussed over and over. Peakboost and Full-race are some examples of kits that can retain PS/AC.

How much do you think i could get a decent gt3071r for? and the reason behind the built motor is that it was in a integra that i bought for cheap so i swapped it out, and also the reason i dont wanna go any more hp is because three reasons: money to do everything else to prep the car for more hp, second might daily drive it, and last I really wanna get the body perfect this year a quick super clean car is more important to me than a super fast ugly beat up looking teg, But thats just me. I love a good sleeper dont get me wrong!

Are you referring to people never getting the kits they ordered? Because if you are, well done sir, well done haha. But you said said the 60 trim doesn't spool fast enough? Hmm, and I was going to build a street turbo with that one too. May have to change that up a bit then

A brand new GT3071r will run you about $1100 or so. Usually ball bearing turbos are a bit more expensive than the journals, as we all know. The 57, 60, 63 trim garrett t3/t4 turbos are among the cheapest ones to use, retailing for about 500-900 bucks.

GT turbos are awesome but will not be your cheapest option. Go with a 3076 over a 3071, but either is way over kill for a goal of 300. For the best spool and your power goal go with a GT28RS. This will give you the best spool and up to 360whp

Depends on what type of powerband the OP wants. The GT28RS is great for midrange, but sacrifices top end power. The GT3071R meets his requirements, is not overkill like a GT3076R and has great power in the midrange and topend unlike the GT28RS. I still think he should keep the turbo he has simply because it is too expensive to get a GT series or any other ball bearing turbo for the power goal he wants.

I would like for low-mid range power and yeah I agree about the price difference not even worth it for what little power i plan to make
