turbo tuning question

Default turbo tuning question

before i tune my car with hondata do i need to get a 3 bar map or a missing link to tune it please lmk something thanks

Hondata is a chiping for a almost standalone ecu, not really, but with hondata, you don't need a check valve or missing link, thats for a FMU

and you don't need a 3 bar sensor, unless you plan to run over 12 psi

stock map sensors can handel about 11.8 psi of boost, before they go crazy, the 3 bar makes it after 12 psi, the map doesn't go crazy

for only 16psi i'd recommend a motorolla 2.5bar mapsensor good for 22psi...you'll get better boosted map resolution.

I would recommend the stock sensor for anything up to 13psi. You can just tune the last column slightly rich. After that you will need to upgrade though.
