Turbo Timers
I dont know much about turbos so I have a question. From what Ive read, not running a turbo timer will cause oil to become caked inside the turbo since it's not cooling down. How long does this take? If someone ran for a few months without one, would it be that bad? My guess would be, yes.
if you can't afford one leave the car running for a while before you shut it off....
it's manual lol
my other friend just waits till his fan turns on then he turns it off but i dunno if that works
i have mine for 2 minutes but if i really push it i'll wait 3 just to be safe
i'm not sure how long everyone else does it for

You could just use the poor man's turbo timer and just sit there in your car and listen to a track then turn it off. Does the same thing and saves you the time of an install and 100 bucks ofr a turbo timer. Glad I got mine free.
Well Ive got one...but dont have a turbo....my brother and I traded cars but kept our own engines. He's turbo'd, Im not. He decided to leave the turbo timer in the Del Sol because it would be a hassle to take out and hook up in the Civic. Now he has no turbo timer and I just want to make sure he's not going to jack up his turbo.
