i have that same problem too. i am sure you can disable it some how. what really sucks is my 97 civic keyless entry system is in the radio. so i am having to leave the radio in my dash
I have the same problem.... althought when the car turns OFF it unlocks the doors.... this forces me to wait reguardless unless I want my car left unlocked....
Also my alarm does NOT arm itself when the turbo timer turns the car off which also sucks

ok
mine does this:
i can arm my car even the car is on (TT counting down)
the car still arms then the car is off (TT finished)
BUT somtimes, when my car is turning off by the TT, the vibration just makes my alarm's sensor to ALARM !!
anyway to make it like:
arms after the TT is off??

ttt .... is there anyone at all who has this working correctly with a honda oem alarm?
Has anyone figured out how to do this for the OEM keyless system? I don't really understand the diagram posted above, it seems to be creeated for an aftermarket alarm.
You can do it with an OE security system but you'll have to bypass the factory alarm boxes power feeds, etc... With an aftermarket security system it's a lot easier... It normally depends all upon how your starter kill relay if you have one is wired... Most break the output signal to the starter which isn't a big deal but whenever I wire up an alarm I break the main feed into the igntion... This makes turning off the alarm without your remote a bitch, but also a lot harder and more time consuming to steal... If you are breaking your starter line and you just need your alarm to arm after your turbo timer goes off, so long as your TT isn't set for over 1 min you should be able to turn on your passive/forced passive arming... Lock the doors manually and walk away, this will automatically arm your alarm after 30/60 seconds, which ever you have it set on... It also all depends on how you have your alarm wired... The way I do it you can arm (and if you have power door locks, lock) your doors even while the turbo timer and motor are still running... This is a little more complicated if you're breaking your ignitions constant 12volt+ feed but it can still be done... I got some homework to do but after I finish I'll start working on a diagram... In the mean time if you have an aftermarket alarm and a turbo timer set for less than 60 seconds... Just turn on your passive arming... Peace
Thanks, but I don't have an alarm of any kind, just the factory keyless, not even the factory alarm. Does this make it easier or harder?
