Default Turbo SOHC fuel correction help

I was wondering what i should do for fuel correction on my d16 im currently turbocharging. I was hoping to just get away with an apexi S-AFC, and possibly a fuel pump? now would that be enough? or would i be running too lean? any info or help on just turbo and fuel correction on similar setups is welcomed.

How much boost are you trying to run? With the stock injectors you cant really run much boost at all. Even running 6-7lbs you need to either up the fuel pressure with an FMU, or increase the injector size and lean them out with the afc. I ran 310's with a very mild greddy setup a long time ago and just leaned out the injectors with the afc. I also had a fuel pump tho.

thanks, i was definatly thinking injectors, but i think i fuel pump would be too much? for only like 6lbs, i just got a apexi SAFC neo.im hoping that will work out nice. i was also wondering about ignition, any bodys setups, ive only ever had MSD i was hoping sombody knew of a small kine cheaper company then MSD. and if i got the ignition, im thinking i would definatly have to do a fuel pump. thats as far as ive come, i have got my air/fuel ratio gauge and a boost gauge.also a little side note, i am looking to buy a turbo timer?!? k alohaz frm ct.

ditch the neo.. junk when you can chip your ecu and tune with uberdata or chrome. for 6 pounds on a single cam get dsm 450 injectors, resister box. your stock fuel pump will be fine for 6 pounds.

Dude, Don't worry about the ignition, that ***** strong, way strong enough to support any 6psi set up on a D-series. And for your A/F ratio gauge, are you talking about an autometer or something? I hope not. Its not gonna do **** except go back and forth... For the money you're spending on this unnecesary stuff, you could have had someone chip and street tune the car already.

thanks, i got the cheap *** ebay turbo kit (money wasted) and im shopping for a garret t3/t4. and also a new manifold u can just see how crappy the welds are, but im going to run the piping and intercooler. I was going to buy a motor but the ***** didnt tell me that it had a small hole in the block, so im lookin for a new SOHC longblock < if anybody knows of one in CT>to build up while i blow this one usin it as a test dummy. so well see how it ll plays out. you really think the neo is rubbish? does hondata do reflashes for d series? or what other good ones would you reccomend?

use chrome. i would stick to a stright t3 like one off of an older volvo. a t3 will be big enough for a d16 and a t3-t4 will suck for anything less then 10 pounds

The apexi unit costs as much as a decent street tune. The street tune nets you more power, as well as better gas milage and more safety. And YES there are tuners within a few hours drive from you. The gas you spend driving that far will be recouped after a week of blindly dumping extra fuel into the motor.

Its like fuking a girl. You have to buy flowers and dinner first, but it is TOTALLY worth the price of admission into the vagina, especially compaired to "other means".

Hate to bust your bubble, but it looks like you've dumped a lot of money into a bag of crap. Ebay turbo kits=Poop, Apexi Neo= Crap for honda tunes, T3/T4=no efficiency@6psi on a D. Go with something like a .42/.48 volvo/Saab Turbo. It would yield good spool, and decent power. I built a ZC a while back on the turbo above, 10 psi= 200whp Crome tune. Crome tune will yield soo many more benefits above the Neo. The only thing you'll lose is a cool screen to show your friends. Get tuned...
