there's something funky going on at the top of the powerband there...maybe a weird timing or fueling thing, or it almost looks like the turbo runs out of breath......which an sc61 shouldn't.

It doesnt look 'weird', you do know that the torque is measured by the legend on the right and horsepower on the left, with this dyno plot they are not equivalent numbers.

To The OP, what boost level is this @ ( your sig says .9 bar [~13psi], that correct?) and what gas are you running? (do they have 93 there?).. You're HP does seem a little low compared to you Torque #, do you have pics of this ebay manifold?

The boost is 13 psi and it creep 14.1 & fall down again to 13.5

out there, we have only 89 octain

and the manifold look like this:

that explains the flat spot, the boost falling to 13psi.

If you can, secure yourself a good quality boost controller.

Also, if you're limited to lower octane fuel (I think your fuel is MON, right? Not sure) try some methanol or water injection.

Ok, that makes sense. The boost fluctuation may not be a boost controller issue, but I would bet it is that manifold. The wastegate is only relieving the pressure of one cylinder's exhaust gases. But honestly 1psi of fluctuation is not bad at all.

89 Octane, that sucks man, and no e85?.

dude, do you think they would have E85 in Bahrain? Honestly. Think about it. E85=ethanol. In a country that gets fairly rich off oil, why would they have an alternative fuel made of CORN?

Also, get a concept about fuel octane ratings. Japanese and most Asian fuels are rated by RON. US fuel is rated Ron+Mon/2. So, his 89 may be Mon, which would probably be the equivalent of our 91 or 93, whereas RON's 98 is equivalent to our 93.

You're right. I heard someone saying the 95 we have is quivalent to 91 in the US.

your powerband is flat up top so I know you can get more....something's up with the tuning up top there, the hp should climb until redline, not flatten out a thousand or two thousand rpm before redline.

With smart tuning, you can definitely get more power.

For a simple solution, look into getting a water injection kit, you can run more boost with water injection.

Actually, i tried to add some timming up top (from 6500rpm to 9000 rpm) but my timming graph seems weried in that run, i lost 2 hp and about 5 lbs of torqe. so, i removed the timming i added.

My afr was 11.3 to 11.6 in boost and my total timming is around 15 degree.

for the alcohol/water injuction, i dont want to use it cuz it's un-legal in our country, and i dont want to go more boost cuz i know i can get atleast 20 to 30 hp from that boost level.

any way, thanks for your help.

when you are crousing for one hour, you will see atleast 5 to 6 police cars and all of them they will stop & check you. you know why, cuz you have honda with chrome muffler .

that why, i am using my car in week end only and for 2 to 3 hours only, and i am trying to avoid them.
