Turbo Size?

is a .84 a/r hot side to big for a ls and if not when would it spool

That sounds like a big turbo.

What are your HP goals and when do you want it to hit full boost by?

if it's on a GT28R then it's not too big, but if it's on a huge turbo like an SC61 then yes. This question cannot go further without the other half of the equation (ie the rest of the turbo's specs)

what would be the biggest exhaust a/r that i can run and would a .70 a/r work or is that still to big

I run a .70 a/r on my h22, and it starts spooling around 3,000 and hits full boost by 3,800 or so (I only run about 5-6 lbs. of boost though).

I don't have much experience with any engines but my own. It depends on lots of other things like compressor a/r, trim, exhaust, etc.. I'd guess the typical numbers are around 230-260 whp?
