Default Turbo setup for gsr?

OK im planning on getting a custom turbo form atomic.
What would I need to get im thinking
Forged pistons and rods with a 9.0:1 compression
What about the head would i need to port and polish it
Im panning on runnig 12psi at the track and 6 psi on the street
What s the max a stock head can handdle?

that boost will be fine U do not need to port and polish, or even change pistons and rods for that set up, however, it makes your motor run much more effeciently, substantial gains can be had with a good port job. and a motor rebuild as well, but its not a "must". In addition, more and more people are using high compression pistons for turbo ugrades, the high compression helps prevent boost lag, it just needs to be tuned properly.

I agree... I have 9-1's in my car and it's def. a dog off boost... you can go higher.. but again I agree.. you need some tuning
