Your listening to the wrong people.

A kit will be quick and easy but will cost $$$.
Spend some time reading around the site, piece together your own set up and save some $$$.

VTEC and High RPM are beneficial on a turbo setup if anything. You're friends don't know what they are talking about.

Thanks alot I appriciate the feed back...so just forget a company kit...also any chance I should do something to the motor because it is completely STOCK motor and im pretty much looking for a quick and nice ride not a drag car so im not expecting to even go higher than 8-10 PSI so is there anything I should do to upgrade the motor so it can run boost safely. The motor has around 45XXX miles on it..

Invest some money in good fuel and spark management. I would also never again listen to anything your friends ever try and tell you about building a fast car again, what they said was just plain wrong, and they probably picked up their misinformed jabber from somewhere on the internet, along with a lot of other raging BS.

PS, go buy a geo. The last thing we need is more 17 year old wanna be street racing thugs with moderately fast cars.

your friends must be thinking of high compression, not high revving.
